 \n\n\n\nDescription\n\n\nThe 3-day Level 1 certification course is an intr
 oduction to ski teaching\, CSIA technique and methodology\, and the role o
 f ski teaching within the ski industry. It combines the basics of practica
 l ski teaching methods\, technical understanding and development of guest 
 service skills\, specifically addressing children's skiing.\n\nThe Level 1
  candidate can expect to be exposed to a variety of terrain\, snow conditi
 ons and terrain features.\n\n\n\n\nPurpose of training\n\n\nA Level 1 cert
 ified instructor is able to:\n\n 	Identify the CSIA Decision Making Proces
 s\n 	Identify teaching practices for children\n 	Effectively demonstrate C
 SIA technique from entry level to intermediate\n\n\n\n\nPrerequisites\n\n\
 n 	Must be at least 15 years old by the start date of the course\n 	Must b
 e competent parallel skier on Intermediate slopes.\n\n\n\n\n
